As we wrap up 2017, we note the fact that we have been podcasting for FOUR YEARS! Wow! Tom and Gavin discuss the recent 2017 Simple Church Conference from October in Wilmore, Kentucky. Gavin’s number one take-away from that weekend was the concept of “being a part of two churches.” This is a concept first described by Curtis Sergeant as part of the Zume´Training. We’ve provided a link to his video below.

This is Part Two of a series we started in Episode 82. In the book of Revelation, Jesus dictates seven letters to the seven churches in Asia during the time of the writing of the book. Gavin and Tom examine each of the letters to find common themes, exhortations, admonitions, and warnings for those churches and for the Church today. From these seven letters, we can get a composite vision of what Jesus expects from His Church, what He commends and what He condemns. What can the contemporary Simple Church learn from the seven letters in Revelation?
