We’ve noticed a phenomenon among young Christians who have grown up within a Simple Church structure. The majority of them seem to discontinue their participation in Simple Churches in favor of more traditional “brick and mortar” churches. While we are thankful that they remain faithful in their church participation, Gavin and Tom wonder why they don’t perpetuate the Simple Church model as adults. Join us as we discuss this trend.
Jesus never intended His people to experience church apart from other followers. We cannot “do” church alone. Whether we are part of a huge mega-church, or a small group, God intends for us to experience life as part of a community of other believers. There are ways that God expects us to treat each other. The way we act as a community is visible to the world around us and can either attract the world to Jesus, or repel them away from His truth. How should we act towards one-another?
