85: Will The Church Ever Agree On Politics?

PC Button

It has been over a month since the recent presidential election in America. Not only is the country divided over the outcome, but the Church in America is also divided politically. While there is some justification over this division given the the choices we had, there seems to be a whole lot of name calling, anger, and resentment among Christians during this entire election cycle. Is this division harmful? Is there a way to disagree politically within the body of Christ? Tom and Gavin share their thoughts on this.

84: What Can We Learn From Jesus’ Letters To The Churches Pt. 3

PC Button
Part three of three parts. In the book of Revelation, Jesus dictates seven letters to the seven churches in Asia during the time of the writing of the book. Gavin and Tom examine each of the letters to find common themes, exhortations, admonitions, and warnings for those churches and for the Church today. From these seven letters, we can get a composite vision of what Jesus expects from His Church, what He commends and what He condemns. What can the contemporary Simple Church learn from the seven letters in Revelation?
